Wind deflector

I have modded my site sticker and would like to put it on the wind deflector. Does anybody know how to remove the wind deflector? As you should know it

Default Wind deflector

I have modded my site sticker and would like to put it on the wind deflector. Does anybody know how to remove the wind deflector? As you should know it is the clear window behind the roll hoops. Is it easy? Here is the pic of the sticker.

I get it

I haven't taken mine out or anything but I imagine it's probably screwed onto the two hoops with some clamps or something. Pop the plastic covers off and it's probably pretty obvious/ easy to get off.
Although I don't know how much of a pain the covers are, my guess is they just snap together so a little gentle prying and you should be on your way.

But again this is all speculation, but everything is snapped together these days right

I'm wondering if they might be secured in using something like windshield glue. I'll look at it this afternoon, just don't want to break anything.

Could be, it does have the same sort of etching (or whatever) on the edges as you would find on the windshield. I'll be interested to find out

I think that might be unserviceable and hence can't be removed or at least very easily.

I looked this afternoon and it didn't look promising. I'll just have to align my sticker as best as I can with it still on the car. Or I could put the sticker on top of the windshield. Have to check the sweep of the windshield wiper.

That would be kewl. I applied the modded sticker(modded the sticker more LOL) to the top of the deflector and it looks good, how much does the tint make the z emblem stand out? Any pics?

Hard to see Z emblem from the front, is it brighter from the rear?
