It's new to me, but have you seen this car before?

Hey all! I've been visiting these forums for a while now, lusting after the ZR, and after shopping new roadsters for a bit I found a great deal on one of the few used roadsters available in the US.

The car I have lined up came from a dealer in San Antonio, TX, and as you can see the previous owner put some serious time and money into it, only to part with it after less than 6 months and only 5k miles. It has 20" GT-R wheels, the K&N Typhoon intake and a spoiler, among other upgrades.

I know the 370z community is pretty tight - has anyone seen this car before and/or do you have any information about it? I'm very curious as to why someone would put so much money and attention into such a beautiful car, then lose it so fast.

Thanks, and looking forward to taking part in these boards!

Welcome and Congrats!!! Beautiful ZR! I haven't seen pics of it before but there are many who have been here longer than I.

Welcome and Congrats!

No info on who's Z that might have been, may have probably been going thru a financial situation where he had no choice but to give it up? Carfax report would pull up some dirt if any?

Hi - thanks for replying!! Yeah, I have the Carfax on it - nothing there but the initial registration event. Financial thing was my initial thought as well, but I'll probably never know. I'm bummed for the guy, but simultaneously thrilled his loss became my gain!
