I know that question has such the potential for abuse so lets try and keep it kind of clean...

The Nissan currently offers a "Cargo Organizer" that attaches to the various hooks in the rear cargo compartment. The convertible models also have these hook mounting points, so I think it would be safe to bet that the Cargo nets and Cargo Organizers would in deed fit.

Here is a link to the various organizers Nissan Offers 370Z owners:

OEM/JDM 370Z Cargo Organizers

We stock a JDM version of the cargo net as opposed to the USDM 350Z version due to the various complaints everyone has had regarding fitment. The JDM covers more area and pull tighter across the floor. The Cargo Organizer is also collapsible so facilitate storage in the cabin when not in use.

Those options look better than anything else I have seen so far.

I may order the collapsible organizer as that is what I am looking for as I don't think the Roadster trunk lends it self well to the net style that is flat on the floor.

Right now I have stuff in a cardboard box that slides all over the trunk. One thing I truly regret about this car is that there is no secure storage in the interior. Since I have the top down pretty much all the time I don't store anything more than an MP3 cable and a pair of sunglasses in the interior. My GPS, my owners manual, even my registration certificate are in the trunk. It would be nice to have something a little bit nicer than a cardboard box to put them in.

How big is the Nissan portable cargo organizer? I've looked everywhere for some detailed specs on it but can't find any more information than is on the page linked in this post. I bought a similar looking and much less costly item online and it proved to have large compartments more suitable to grocery bags than the stuff in my trunk, so my wife is using it now. If the Nissan organizer is a more suitable size, perhaps I'll try it.

Lee123, the inside dimensions of the organizer are 11" x 13" x 6" fully opened. There are also two, removable, velcro dividers that help to secure and organize objects within the Trunk Organizer.

We generally keep these Trunk Organizers in stock, and can ship the same day.

Default Nissan 370Z Trunk Organizer Review

Well the Nissan 370Z trunk organizer came today.

They really put some though into the organizer. Once you expand it from the folded up storage mode, it has two nice solid plastic panels that fold down to give it a solid base which is a nice touch. You can then put in the two other dividers to divide the organizer into 4 compartments. The center divider is fixed and not removable which does not lend itself to storing objects larger than 9 inches by 11 inches. The adjustable straps do allow you some flexibility for placing larger objects outside of the organizer, and they are still secured by the straps from sliding the length of the trunk.

Here is what it looks like unfolded.

A bit smaller than it looked like on the web page.

Initially divides into 4 compartments.

You can easily pull out two of the dividers which velcro into the organizer on the left and right of the non removable center section. The velcro inserts are well done with the velcro being attached on the ends of the divider in the middle of the velcro strip. When you attach it to the inside of the organizer you can then smooth out the velcro on either side of the edge of the divider and make a very solid connection to the velcro inside the organizer. This ensures that the divider is solidly anchored.

Here it is in the trunk of my Roadster

The organizer then connects to the 4 tie down locations in the trunk and can be cinched into a bunch of different positions in the trunk so you have room to put larger objects

As you can see my 17 inch laptop bag fits nicely behind the organizer and the trunk closes with no contact on the laptop bag.

It is a very well put together bit of kit I would not be afraid to recommend it to others.

I give this product 4 Zs out of 5. I would have given it 5 Zs out of 5 but the center divider is not removable thus unduly limiting the size of things you can put inside the organizer.

I am not sure that this would be the best product for the coupe as the rear storage area is much bigger and would probably be better served by the full length mesh option.

If anyone would like some close up pictures let me know before Thursday unless you want to wait a while.

Actually the organizer is 19" long by 11" wide and 7" tall on the ends with the sides being 6" tall.

Kirkster,
Thanks for the correction. I did not have the divider pulled tight when I took the measurements, that would account for the differences in dimensions.

Thanks to whoever threw me the rep point...

I might repost this as a review instead of my junk in the trunk thread.
