For that gap, if I'm not mistaken I think that's what the adjustment nuts on each side of the 5th bow are for, is setting the clearance to rest on

For that gap, if I'm not mistaken I think that's what the adjustment nuts on each side of the 5th bow are for, is setting the clearance to rest on the lid. Might be worth a try.
