The 1/4" drop is so that when the doors are opened/closed the window will form a good seal on the weatherstripping. Supposed to raise again once the door is tightly

The 1/4" drop is so that when the doors are opened/closed the window will form a good seal on the weatherstripping. Supposed to raise again once the door is tightly closed. Not sure if the "trigger" is the door light switch? Mine won't raise if the door isn't totally closed. I don't think it's the one-touch programming that is the issue, but rather a sensor or the door light switch needs adjusting?
