Hi
I haven't seen Jdew72 on here for awhile. there are a number of places that have the same one. I got mine here Nissan Spoilers Hope this helps Dan |
I dislike activating an old thread, but..... last week I installed a CARiD spoiler on my Roadster. It may be my imagination but it seems like the airflow through the cabin has changed for the better. With the top down there seems to be a more linear airflow with less “forward” flow in the cabin. Has anyone else noticed the same?

Hello fellow roadsters...I just wanted to mentioned that I installed my spoiler without drilling. I used 3M tape as well as black silicone adhesive sealant made by Permatex. I had my spoiler for a few weeks and was going go the drill route. The Permatex brand was recommended by my Nissan dealer friend. He said that’s what the techs use on spoilers for customers that do not want any drilling done to the trunk lid.
I had the adhesive set for about fourteen hours before I drove about 177 miles straight from Raleigh, NC to Charlotte. I drove about 85-90mph on avg for the round trip. I checked the spoiler a few times before and after my trip. Spoiler is on solid. No issues. I lift my trunk by the spoiler out of habit from the GT-R...no issues with that from the Z spoiler. My spoiler on the Z is fiberglass that was pre-painted when I ordered it. Hope this helps anyone on the fence. |
