Nissan 370Z Forum

Has anyone removed their whole top? Cloth and frame.

I need to pull the the top off so I can do some body work in the area. I'm looking for advice or a posted explanation of the procedure.

Have you downloaded and gone over the Service Manual's section on the top?

Just today I removed the painted cover and wrapped the top in plastic, leaving it retracted in place. Good to go.

Too many servos, wiring and adjustment issues on reinstall to deal with if removed.
