Default Door Panel Removal

I took mine off (2014) for new speakers, using the instructions from Crutchfield .
I made a panel removal "tool" from a nylon kitchen spatula by removing the rubber part and sanding down one end to a taper. I don't think I can explain the procedure here, but perhaps I could scan and email the info to you. But first Google it or check crutchfield's support section and see if it's there. It is "Complete Car Audio Installation Instructions- 2009 - Nissan 370Z".
Hope this helps.

There is no airbag inside the door panel.

My '11 Roadster has Airbag Modules behind the door skin cover. They had to be unplugged to remove the doorskin and gain access to the door interior or speakers.

It's best to disconnect the battery before you unplug the airbag connector, that way you will not get a fault light

definitely disconnect the ground on the battery and step on the brake pedal for 15-20sec. might even suggest waiting 10-15min just to be safe.

then unplug your srs. if you plug the srs connector back together before you start the car, you shouldn't get the dtc. GL
