Will you pay over sticker to have a new 370Z?

I'd never pay over MSRP for a car. If I can't get it at MSRP I'll wait it out. Unless its a Ferrari the price will drop.

Everyone here who is saying that they would pay over sticker, just know what you're the ones messing it up for everyone. These a-hole dealers couldn't charge over sticker if you people would refuse to pay it.

WHOOT! YOU TELL 'EM!

I totally agree. Fools that rush out to buy and settle over sticker are just screwing the rest of the community! (Including themselves by paying more in the first place)

these 2 guys are the exact reason why dealers price vehicles over M.S.R.P, they are 2 extremes of car buying, but in order to offset the profit and pay a sales person that is highly trained they have to do so... have a inflated sticker to make a high profit to make up for those who buy the cars for nothing. If you paid too much for a car blame yourself, there is a lot of websites and info available to the public to protect you from having overpaying... Darwin was and is right... Only the strongest and fittest will survive.. if you think by walking into a dealership and asking for invoice and requesting them to sell to you for that is going to get you a deal.. maybe you should consider your manners because they do not walk into you house and put their feet on your sofa and tell you to go get them a beer.... thats pretty much what it sounds like to a salesperson

Are you kidding? In this market they will be lucky to get me to pay invoice for a new car.

Bring on the redtag, 0% financing please.

Anyone who buys one of these when they first come out will lose money.
Youll lose money on a new car anyways but in todays market dealers cant sell cars that people need much less a sports car that seats two people.
Give this car 3 months before buying and youll save yourself 2 or 3 grand.
If the economy continues to take a crap maybe even more.

What say you?
Tin, you must also be considering a camaro; I think I remember seeing you posting over there. Between the two cars, I'm sure we can get one for msrp or below

Yup that's me! I really like the Camaro on paper, but I have serious doubts about GM's ability to even get the production line going. Then there will be 4-6 months of above MSRP due to the Camaro fanbois. I'm also interested in the new Mustang, but to a lesser degree than the Z or Camaro.

I drove an R/T and SRT8 Challenger last week and wasn't impressed. I love car shopping.

I agree, the camaro looks awesome on paper (and in pics), however, I have owned a 4th gen camaro, c5 and c6 vette, and an SSR (which I've nicknamed "the disaster") ... They have all been disappointing in quality and I'm finding it hard to give GM a 5th chance. Meanwhile, the 05 Z in my garage has had no major problems to date.

I checked out the challenger as well, felt like driving a boat ... no thanks. I also drove the mustang when the new body style came out, even cheaper interior than the General, plus it drove like a truck.
