I used to be a car salesman for 3 years at various new car dealers. And uh...there were characters just like you who frequented the dealer, always looking at the same model, etc. They never bought. Once dealers A,B,C...recognize your face and remember your excessive grinding, the salesmen will run as soon as you hit the lot.

We have 4 or 5 customers that we laugh at and try to avoid as they walk the lot for this reason! It's definitely true!
