Probably not going to be possible to give suggestions without knowing what you're really looking for in a car. What makes you happy? What are you absolute need items? What sort of budget are looking for? What are you expecting to do to/with the car?

What about each car do you like and dislike? Why not do another 13 Mustang?

You want to tune on the car? I *might* actually suggest going elsewhere from the Z. You can do things to it, but don't expect a good +hp-to-dollar ratio, if power/speed is all you care about.

You want public street spirited driving that is fun and isn't going to kill you? You might like the mini best. (Hell, even a new WRX.)

IMO, if you're absolutely not sure and you absolutely need a car quickly, I would always suggest you go cheaper. That way if you do make a hasty mistake, you're not tied up with high payments for ~6 years.

If you can find them (in Miami I'm sure you could), maybe you could rent for a while and rent the ones you want. Spend a week with your chosen picks. That gives you a chance to take your time AND try them out.

Stay away from the Manual transmissions....these cars have a history of CSC (Concentric Slave Cylinder) failure, repairs will be $1,000 & up, and have a routine failure at low miles. I'm on my 3rd one already within 50,000 miles. No hard driving or racing of my car. FYI

For a 2014 it'll likely be a warranty job. That's no reason to avoid the manual.

If you're paying out of pocket, why haven't you put in the aftermarket one instead?
