If not, I'd wait until they're on the lot to buy.
I've seen a lot of people 'order' their cars, and the dealerships being worthless about the whole transaction.

hmm...didn't think of car lot option...thanks. As an individual, is it possible to buy directly from a lot?

I think I might be one of them. Dealer ordered my car along with 2 other 370z back in June. The other came last week and mine hasn't. I asked them several times for the deliver date and VIN, but they couldn't give me any of that.
