While I was shopping, the dealership I ended up selecting offered me 3.99% for up to 63 months (I selected 60...) on the Z. The bank was actually the credit union I have been using for the past 10 years so it was easy for me to agree to do business with them. The funny part was that when I talked with a guy at the bank the next time I was in there, he had no idea the credit union was running that sort of special.

So, I guess while you're not likely to find anything like 0% for 60 months anytime in the near future, there are some decent deals to be found for a 'specialty car'.

I bet you that was an accident. I am a member of credit union and they are not that genrous. If you have a good credit Nissan will match or do better than credit union. Actually it depends on if you bought an 08 350Z. Lots of places offer deals on that one after 370Z came out.

No, it was no accident...I went through Citadel FCU (which Im a member of anyhow...) and that was the no haggle APR I was qualified for. Granted, you need to have excellent credit to get it, but it wasn't an issue to get it lined up. And this was on a new 370Z, not the 350Z.... I was pretty happy to get it

Sorry I didn't check the interest rates recently. I bought mine in early April. Interest has since plumethed on a lot of things. I also have excellent credit and NMAC was willing to finance GT-R. I wasn't of course.

Yeah, I'd totally agree that the interest rate I had was a product of just good timing. When the Z was first introduced/released, it was just a pipe dream for me to be able to make it happen, but I checked it out anyhow. The best interest rate out there I could find was going to be between 6 and 8% which I thought was just plane rough....

So, when there was a 'financing break' with my credit union a few months ago (not sure if it were new or if it were in the middle of the 'special'), it made it really hard to not chase a dream and get the Z
