Nav Overated

I think the nav is over rated! He'll, you can look out your window and see where you are. Map reading 101. The touring just adds heated seats, thAt are too hot, leather, etc. The Sports Pkg, That to me is the good stuff, and reasonable at around $3000. IMHO !
Problem is finding one exactly the way you want it. Also, out of state or instate, you will pay the sales tax. But be patient , and you'll find a reasonable price.
On another note, why are roadsters over &10000 more than a coupe . Just blows me away.

LOL honestly it depends on what time of the day it is. Sometimes it looks orange and sometimes it actually has a peanut butter look to it

Yeah, I have been expanding my search outside of Alabama. I found a touring without navi but with sports package for 35 586 include all fees and tax. It seems too good to be true, dealer is wanting 500 non refundable deposit. I can't really go look at the car since its 2 hours away in Georgia. If someone wants to go check out the car for me that be great :p

This is a no brainer!! dude you can just live with a portable gps and save the money.

I don't know about all of that. I love my nav. And factory nav is integrated into the car better than an aftermarket head unit with nav.

The whole point of navigation is to get directions, what do you mean by intergrated better??

There are a lot more functions you can access than just the directions on the factory nav system.

I realize this but i guess everybody has their own preferences and to me the op of this thread came by a great deal on a car minus just the nav. I would never let nav stand in my way of purchasing a good deal.

There are good deals on cars with nav too. He originally wanted it, and would be settling on one without. Personally, I'd consider looking longer or in a bigger area. I bought my car 900 miles from home.

ok man, i am not here to argue. I do agree with you. I was just simply stating my own opinion on the matter. I hope that he finds the car he wants.

Agreed. He just needs to keep expanding the search area. His car is out there. If you end up making too much of a compromise, you'll be annoyed every time you get in the car.

I agree. I almost settled on a car without nav and I know I would've regretted it. I also found my car around 1200 miles away.

How are you guys getting the dealer to 37.5K OTD on a brand new fully loaded Z?

I had a tough time bartering them down to 39K sale price, MSRP is 41,900. Invoice was $38600. This was a 2014 by the way.

Time of year plays a big role in it. Not too many folks buy a RWD sports car when there's snow covering the roads.
