My premium is is around $250 every 6-months with considerably better coverage, but then again I'm slightly older, in my 50's. Love the car, purchased the FI exhaust.....anxiously waiting end of June.

Country = U.S.
State = WV Age = 28 I've been paying about $610/6 months for my car (about $850/6 months for my old truck with 100k miles...) ...but State Farm just gave me the boot :/ That was for something like 300k/100k/300k with $500 deductible Multi-car discount. Had a safe-driving discount lol Had two fender-benders about 7 months apart, both extremely minor. One in the Z, one in my truck. One ticket, for failure to yield, because of the first wreck. I'm sure my rate will jump like crazy when I get a new insurance company (I have two weeks to do so) |

Cost of Insurance?
Hello members,
I am soon on my way to a new 370Z! But...before I get into my lovely car I need to know how much insurance would be since if it's at too high of a range I might not be able to afford it. So if you would kindly tell me how much you pay that'd be great. I live in California and have a good student discount so any info would be welcome. |

Well for starters how old are you? If you are under the age of 25 it going to be high. I believe there was a thread about insurance payment on the Z. Have one of your parents be the primary & you could be the secondary. I know for me on my Nismo is $95.16 a month, but I am 30yrs old too. I switched it today, so that my mother (is 55yrs old) will be the primary......hehehehe. This will drop drastically to around $65 give or take a couple dollars possibly. It is all about playing the game. FYI insurance on a Nismo is going to be higher than a non Nismo.

You're better off posting this in the regional section. Insurance varies state by state, city by city, so your answers will be either $30 a month - $3000 a month depending who you ask.
FWIW, I'm paying $266.66 a month for mine in NYC with the usual stuff. Bodily Injury Liability Current Limit: $50,000/$100,000 Property Damage Liability Current Limit: $50,000 Supplementary Uninsured Motorist Current Limit: $25,000/$50,000 Basic Personal Injury Protection Basic Non-Deductible Comprehensive $2,000 ded. with Non-ded Glass Collision $2,000 Ded. |

There's a ton of factors that go into insurance costs. Age, location, discounts you get if you have homeowners insurance with the company, how much coverage you want, what kind of deductible, driving record, and I can keep going on and on. Not to mention every insurance company has their own way of rating you, anf there's a ton of agencies to choose from as well. You wont really get a very concrete answer on forums. If I were you, id just start calling each agency one by one until you find one with the best price.
