Order turnaround with Nissan?

Has anyone ordered a Nissan, specifically a 350Z, to their exact specs before? I was wondering what kind of turnaround time I'm looking at should I decide to buy a 370Z. Many companies say 7-8 weeks, but I've never had a chance to ask a Nissan dealer.

it's gonna be longer....the new ones are just being made now

like when i bought my G, there were no options....either take black 5AT or wait 3 months...lol...so i caved in

You should probably wait and see what your local dealers get on the lot...

don't get confused, shumby ordered an 08 G37 and waited 3 months and ordered an 09 g37 and got it right away.

Of course I will check the dealers first, but I still want an idea of how long I have to wait in the worst case scenario. On the bright side, my birthday is in April, so I just may be having a Datsun-themed birthday.

3 months sounds about right for something so new. I'll start talking to dealers in January. I would like to do it now, but I'm moving the weekend after X-mas.

ya def check the lots firstthat is a no brainer. But don't setel if they don't have exactly what you want.

I have an appointment on tuesday here at my local nissan dealership in denver, co. Taking a G with to reserve one going to get the touring w/ sports and navi.

He set it up for tuesday because he said i was the first to ask about them so he is getting all the info and wants his manager to be there to help so ill fill you all in on tuesday...
