I love Nissans too, but owning both and complaining about the insurance is kind of silly. Less people own GTR's so less people wreck them. Not a whole lot of people use the GTR as a daily driver or only car either which is the main reason you get a lower rate with multiple cars. After looking at your rate, they actually seem kind of low. My first car was a 15 year old Jeep... basic insurance was over $2k a year. I highly doubt the GTR has a lower premium than the Z by itself, but there are a lot of factors to consider. The age thing or bracket doesn't really matter if you're comparing which car is more expensive to insure. Both are going to either go up..or go down respectively. OP, you do stock trading, you should already know how this works.

I'm pretty curious about this. Considering the GT-R is a supercar, is that stuff DD-able in the first place? I'd think that later on (after racking up miles) it'd be as reliable as a 50K+ mileage BMW. As for OP, I don't think you should really worry about insurance prices considering that you have enough money anyways.

Sure why not? Now the question would be would u WANT to daily drive it, you know keep the miles down on it.

I don't see the point of buying a car and not driving it. Maybe not a DD, but an every-other day DD then.

Well if this guy is legit his age shows. With age proving yourself kind of falls to the way side.

On topic:

My 05 SRT-4 with comprehensive coverage is just 10.00 less a month than both of our 370's with full coverage.

What is full coverage per mo. on your 370, if you don't mind me asking?

Full coverage is $80/mo. on my SRT4. Was told $100 would be the rate once I got my 370.

...however, I just got notice that my premium is going up to $100/mo for the SRT, so I'm gonna shop around again (1yr intro. rate must be up, as I have no tickets or claims).

The Z's are 65.00 each a month. Im not sure why im paying so much for my SRT, and our civic is almost nothing.

Thanks to this thread I did figure out that GT-R insurance is affordable though. Now I just need to sell the idea to the girlfriend

Seriously considering buying a GT-R next year. Just not sure whether I want to sell the Z or keep it because I'm kinda attached at this point.

Explains why he dropped off the map. I'm the same age as this guy and I don't go around complaining about how I have soooo much money and insurance costs soooo much. God, my penis is so small, how can I possibly compensate for my lack of manhood!?

lolololol
