got boned on my last deal, help with new pricing!

The place I was at yesterday lowered the car from 28,493 to 27,994 on auto trader today, yesterday they wouldn't budge a dollar.. screw them. the place with the 09 Nismo with 26k said they would do 27,900...
I work in the auto biz, so I never think the deal is good enough, and the market for these things are not great, thus I see the wisdom here. I have our whole sale manager checking the auctions and still have not found exactly what I want. I am thinking of waiting a bit and finding a used 2011 so I do not have to take the oil consumption gamble, most of the cars still have power train warranty, and I know the local Nissan techs, but its still a pain if it happens..oh well the search goes on.
