If you want the factory nav your going to have to get a z with it, you would have to replace a great deal of stuff to the point it would not be worth it to get the stock nav installed. Basically it can not be done.

Second a lot of people will chime in saying that the bose system is actually worse than the base system. I agree. And no matter which one you get a new head unit and a set of aftermarket speakers will blow both systems out of the water.

My advice get the upgraded heated eats if you want them and invest in a good aftermarket system. If you search the audio section you will find a lot of threads asking what to get. That is where I would start.

Also here is some more info on the bose system, pretty big pain to upgrade.

What to know about Bose
I disagree. I'm not an audiophile to your extent, but it's pretty plain to see your hatred to anything Bose. That's fine, but at least be as objective as your "What to know about Bose" thread.

For me, I don't need to have the best sound system in my Z, just something decent that I can listen to my music with. I've heard both the base stereo and the Bose (which I have in my Z) and the Bose is clearly better. It's good enough for me and I don't need to mod it to be happy with the sound. This isn't the case with the base stereo. It sounds pretty shitty and I would definitely have to upgrade it to be happy. Sure I'd end up with something better than the Bose after upgrading, but that's just less extra money I have to spend. Yes I did spend some extra money getting the touring package, but it was for more than just the sound system.
