If I heard that Nissan was going to replace that goofy L.E.D. fuel gauge/etc., with a decent analog gauge........that would make the buying decision easy......wait for the 2010. Hopefully someone in the aftermarket will make a plug-n-play analog replacement for those suffering with the 2009. What were they thinking?

Once you get used to it, it really isn't that bad, works like it's supposed to.

I agree and it uses less dash real state.

:iagree: I also think it is very accurate, as far as being consistant with the amount remaining when it gets down to two lights.

Well the dealer called today and told me that the car they were going to get me is no longer available and asked if I wanted red. I told them no. I guess someone is telling me to wait until 2010.

shadspimp 07-09-2009 12:17 PM

Hm, they still haven't called me. I can't wait to get the information I just want to know everything. I know it's nothing big but I just like knowing ;)

Yea, at first I hated how it looked, but when you see the guages at night with all the lights on bright, it looks great!!

Minnichs, is 32,000 for MT or 7AT?

I actually like the fuel gauge. It makes it easy to get an accurate reading.

No, vehicle has to be physically in dealer inventory. Even if you have a Vin# for a incoming unit the system will decline the entry. So to answer your question no. I have vision on Aug. Production which will hit my lot in Sept. to give you an idea on how for out it is.

I understand prices are released when the vehicle begins Production, is that correct? Or are you expecting to see prices earlier than that? I wonder what happened to that rumor about 2010 prices the first week in July?

FuszNissan 07-10-2009 07:45 AM

Not always the case. I had a Nismo Z that was produced and on a truck headed to the dealership and price wasn't available until a week before it hit my lot. I got confirmation that the 2010 Roadster,(don't know about coupe yet), will be allocated at a later date. (When, don't know) Maybe pass 2, ( second production of the month), this month. Could be next month. I don't have acess to my dealer order system this week, but I will check on pricing when I get back into town. Who knows could be realsed before I get back. That's all the info I know.

LETSGOEERS06 07-10-2009 04:51 PM

I went to the dealer here in Morgantown, WV they said I can buy the base model off the lot or wait until the 2010's come out. I am not sure if they just cannot get them or do not want to loose the buisness on the 09. I still have 8 grand on my grand cherokee so I am waiting to pay it off 1st anyway but the dealer seemed to think that the 2010's have different options because they said I cant order a 2009.

FuszNissan 07-10-2009 06:01 PM

That is the million dollar question everyone is asking. I would hate to see what happened with GTR to happen wiht the 2010 coupe. Same equip, higher price. 2010's Coupe (not roadster) May hit in Nov/Dec/Jan. I really don't know, but how the production of the 09's are going, I have a gut felling Dec.

ADmaster71690 07-11-2009 10:36 AM

I just emailed Nissan asking if any information on the 2010 model is available yet, and they told me the tentative release date (subject to change) is November 13.

My dealer in Ft. Lauderdale was able to put in a custom order for me this past Thursday. Apparently there is only one day a month where they can custom order cars. The car is set for production in August with hopefully a September ETA. You might want to call some of the dealers in Pittsburgh to see if they can do you any good. (WVU class of '79).

nightfire 07-13-2009 09:48 PM

Any word if persimmon interior will still be available for the 2010 coupe? It's not listed for the roadster so I'm hoping they still keep it with the coupe. (roadster I read black, white, and that redish color everyone sees in the pic).

fuct 07-14-2009 08:44 AM

thought i read it was maroon colored..?..

Yeah that's the red color i'm talking about. But all I can find are the interior colors for the roadster. I'm hoping they won't be the same as for the coupe because i'm hating that maroon and really wanted to order a Z with the persimmon interior

fuct 07-14-2009 09:20 AM

i just hope they bring the heated/COOLED seats!!!! my *** gets hot down here in tejas....

chirojin 07-15-2009 02:22 AM

It should have had USB connectivity in the first place.

fuct 07-17-2009 09:31 AM

soooo no more iPod connection at all?

iPod should still work, but with a USB connection you can use any MP3 device, Zune, Archos, Creative, etc.

so your saying they'll still have persimmon for 2010? Is it just the roadster that they are getting rid of persimmon and replacing it with the wine/maroon color?

I am pretty positive like 90%, I mean if they left something like that off the list of changes for 2010 coupes then it would be pretty stupid if you ask me. That is a big thing, I'm pretty sure they wouldn't forget to mention it. I also want persimmon interior very bad. Hopefully they don't get rid of it.

Yeah true especially because they mentioned the change in exterior color. I just find it odd how this will be the first year in 350/370 history that they will have different color interiors in the same year for the roadster and the coupe..

Pheonix 08-18-2009 10:30 AM

Sounds about like what the dealership told me when I went for the first test drive yesterday. (which btw I loved). I won't be ready to close for another few weeks, as I'm not going to rush the down payment simply because I can't wait to upgrade the vehicle...and I inquired about the 2010s...and he told me while he didn't know specifically...he had heard around October, November or December.

Then again...he had a surprising amount left on the lot, and while none were matched with exactly what I want...finding one around the area and doing a dealer trade didn't seem to be at all out of the question, or difficult. He's already got his people on it.

gorillanismo 08-18-2009 05:09 PM

someone have a photo of the look of this black cherry color???

theDreamer 08-18-2009 05:12 PM

Link

gorillanismo 08-18-2009 05:18 PM

uffff that black cherry looks gorgeous, I want mine in that color!!!

that color is for both right, coupe and roadster???

Asheth 08-18-2009 05:31 PM

I don't really think there is to much to think about if your trying to decide if you want a 09' or 2010. You have essentially the same car plus heated mirrors and micro-filter in cabin. Not much else really. If your not planning to get the touring then most of the changes added arent even going to apply to you! Nav=Touring, Usb=touring plus Nav Heated mirrors can probably be added to 09' either you wait or not is how i see it.

Asheth 08-18-2009 05:39 PM

actually the Micro-Cabin filter is on 09's but not sure if it is just in the touring and i think goes standard for 2010

alvinmathew88 08-19-2009 09:28 PM

So looking at those pics, there is a heated and cooled seats on the convertible 370z, does that mean the non-convertibles are going to have cooled seats too?

Please say yes...

as stated earlier..... no. sadly they will not.

and the cabin filter is not on either level of 09's.
