I haven't heard anywhere that says the 7 speed automatic is going to be an option that costs money. I think you'll be able to opt for the auto or manual and neither one will cost additional money to get (this is how it is if you build a 350Z on Nissan's site now). If the automatic transmission does cost a premium I'll be surprised because I haven't known Nissan/Infiniti to have done that recently.
