I know that the 40th is basically a touring base sport model. I've looked at other z's already and they don't seem as unique to me. I love the z and I'm planning to own this car for a long time.

I don't want to buy new because that's asking me to go over my budget. I dont want more than 30k, and I'm sticking to it. If I wanted new I would have had one already.

I think you are getting a pretty good deal man. I personally wouldn't worry too much about mileage on these cars. They have good, solid engines. It's all personal preference. Some want a low mileage car to be able to easily sell later on. Or some want low mileage because technically is a "newer" car (debatable). Seems to me like you want a good deal for a used Z. And if you going to be keeping this car for a while then you should get exactly what you want.

Thanks for your response. Yeah I was going to just settle, but it didn't seem right to me. There is always that "what if?"

Another way to think of it depends on your financials. If you have a good job you can settle with a "fair" deal and not waste your valuable time searching for a better deal. It's a lot of hassle to drive to different places and talk with people if you don't have the time.

If you want my advice; squeeze, don't pull.

you should never feel pressured into a sale , take your time and do your homework....sure it may be your 4th Z but you know what? thats not your fault. you know what you want, dont settle for something less. its their fault for not checking the car over with a fine tooth and comb to make sure everything was A ok.

My Z, my dealership drove up from Virginia and as a result, had scratches all over the front bumper and back end, so it spent a week and a half in the paint shop getting re painted and to the satisfcation of what i wanted.

Good things come to those who wait my friend. i think something good is coming your way. get what you want.

Good luck! I wish I had a non-damaged 40th to sell you.
