I went to the dealership today to take a look at the car. So no warranty, a few slight scratches, that weren't too noticeable. There was this one ding on the front bumper that had me look more around the fender. I felt under the wheel well and saw a portion of the inner fender liner gone?!? I could see the back of the headlight and other wiring? It makes me think that the car had ran over something? So of course I pointed this out and they said they would be willing to fix this. I just feel even if the price might be fair, the car is not worth the hassle?
What do you guys think? |

yeah had to walk out on it...
at least I got to take a test drive haha... back to the search. |
keep searchin' man! Don't let them fool you with all that jumble. Find the best Z and negotiate the best you can. In the end, at least you got a Z with no problems for at least a "fair" or "decent" price.

I wonder if this is a good deal. 16k miles. 30k.
Cars for Sale: 2010 Nissan 370Z Touring in Yucaipa, CA 92399: Coupe Details - 312162471 - AutoTrader.com |
i was really looking at this one. I would have get approved for a loan. I contacted that seller already. He said when ever I have a chance to take a look at it
|
would you guys consider buying private?
|
I don't see why not.. Only thing is some prefer buying from dealer because of warranty. So you may want to account for maintenance cost out of your pocket. Also, supposedly, cars sold at dealers are in "excellent" condition.

Ok new deal to the mix. I checked out another 40th this weekend, car is going for 30k with 19k miles, very clean and unmolested. The car is through a personal seller. I am approved for 17k financed at 2.99%. Im placing the rest down. Should I jump on this and make my dreams come true? What do you guys think?!? The thing that concerns me is that it is a private seller vehicle? Is it a good Idea to buy private?

How much does having the 40th matter to you?
Unless you plan on keeping it as a collector, basically it's a regular Z with a few nice amenities... No offense intended to anyone who bought one or anything, but, seriously, do you want a 370Z or a 40th only? |

You could possibly get a newer 370Z ('12) for 5-8k more with 0% (up to 60months) or 2.99 % (for 72 months), but you would have to fork out more money out of your pocket since you are only getting 17K. |
