Default 2011 trade into 2010?

The dealer gave me a even trade in for my 2011 base AT non sport with 2000 miles to a 2010 base 6 mt+sport with 7000 miles on that. No extra cost.no need to pay tax. Accept?folks? Any idea will be appreciate. Shall I keep the 11 base or trade to the sport 2010?

Tested the 10 car but that one has abnormal sounds on the clutch and even is throwing a cel. Anyway, how about th 2008 350z nismo with 26k miles? has kenwood navi and a big subwoofer i forgot the brand for the sub but they should work. Sounds good? Tested it no problems? Still even trade. Hows it? Thanks guys

All things being equal, it's really a choice of your preference on transmissions.

Do you have a desire to drive manual? If yes, do it.

If all you want are different wheels and a wing, I'd say just keep what you have.

I don't understand why you would not need to pay tax? Isn't that up to the government and not the dealership. Won't the DMV send a letter later to collect on the tax?

Cuz I already paid tax on the 2011. Of course I do need to pay. If the trade in difference Is negative don't need to pay tax. If it's even 20 bucks u need. To pay Tax based on the sales of 20 it's all matters what dealer writes on the contract.

Yes that's possible but suppose I have sold my car for 2000 more than the trade in value. But if I buy a car, I need to pay uncle Sam!! Which even the difference . Barely no difference between I trade in with dealer and sell private. Ehh make sense?

I would go for it, but first get that CEL sorted out IMO make sure its nothing big! Otherwise ya do it! 100% MT is the way to go in a sports car!

Also have you ever driven stick before?? if so how did the clutch compare to the others that you drove? to me it's a little weird at first nothing like my old Z32, and most of us find it drives nicer with VDC turned off!
