New 370z or used g37?

The feel should be different between the two. You're talking sub 3300lbs on the 370z and over 3700lbs on the G37, with essentially the same hp output. Personally, I am in it for power/weight, and 1hp/9.72lbs (approx) for the Z is pretty dang good.

So keep that in mind. I absolutely DO NOT need this car to be practical in any way, shape or form, the hatch access is gravy.

Let's just hope that they keep it that way and haven't simply set it there to generate sales before the crazy markups

Anyway, do you know if the autos going to cost extra on top of that or if it'll simply be a matter of choice?

I think you will have a choice of the 6sp manual or the 7sp auto for no extra cost. Much like the current Z if i'm not mistaken. But your right they may have set the price sub $30k just to attract buyers, then charge extra for everything. Wasn't side airbags a $600 option in the 350z? Ridiculous.
