Default Sport Package after the fact, Invoice pricing and You

Does anybody know why its not possible for the dealer to "upgrade" a 370Z that was already sold without a sport package? Since invoice pricing for the sport package comes up to be about 2.5k why can't that be ordered as a later upgrade? Does it HAVE to come from the factory with the option already added? I'd be willing to lay down the whole $3k for just the brakes and the Rays w/ tires since I have an auto and synchrorev isn't available to me.

It's a factory option, adding everything afterwards will be a lot more then $3k...
And with the money you would spend adding it after the fact, you can buy better stuff...

Better stuff? The Rays and Akebonos alone are well worth the price of the sports package. There are no equal substitutes for the price of both nor something "better".

They are worth the price of the sports package.

You are not reading, like I said; buying everything after the fact will be a lot more expensive then the price of just the sports package.... So if you didn't buy it with the car, you would now be better of with other aftermarket products.

As to why it's more expensive after the fact. First of all it's a factory option, so the price of the sports package is add on cost to the base equipment...

The sport package is a steal...unlike the touring package.

Well, Nissan calls it Downshift Rev Matching, while I believe syncrorev works for up shifting as well?

It is cool, though.
