My Dealer Used My Car for 290 miles!
I bought a 370Z Coupe 2010 three days ago at an out of state dealer. The car had been sitting on their lot for 2 months and had 9 miles on the odometer when they were laying the "Sold" stickers on her. Today it was driven to delivery here - 91 miles from the dealer - who then promptly departed in my trade-in (a 350Z).
I just noticed that there are now 388 miles on the odometer! I know I gotta talk to my sales guy tomorrow, but I keep wondering what could POSSIBLY justify their having done so without asking me - or even telling me? |

To OP, go down there and raise hell. You'll probably be able to get a free 2nd oil change, a t shirt, or a travel mug. |

mine had roughly 69 miles on it i think? lol and i bitched at this...

They probably gave it to one of their sales people for the weekend. So basically it was probably raced for 290 miles. I would not have accepted delivery of the car.

Well, it's good and broken in, now. No need for this "under XXXX rpm" crap for you!

Ck youtube....?

My had 98 miles on it at delivery. My came from a dealership in Huston to Austin by truck then to San Antonio by driving. The austin to San Antonio trip is around 70 miles so that leaves 30 miles of loading and unloading from lot to truck to ship to truck to rail to truck to lot to truck to lot.
Just think about how many miles these thing can get just getting them to the dealer. |
