I do not think it would be a financially prudent decision. You will likely take a significant loss on your G. If your desire for the 370Z is great enough

If your desire for the 370Z is great enough to offset the loss you will undoubtedly incur, then by all means go ahead and get the Z. If I were in your position, I would NOT get a Z because it is very similar to the G. The Z will be slightly lighter and not have back seats. The G is has the same engine and can just as fun with a little more luxury and practicality (back seats). Good luck. And despite what some of the newer members are saying, your question is not dumb and you have every right to ask it. We are all here to help each other, not to stroke our egos.

Well, what are you looking for in the Z that isn't offered in your G?
I personally wouldn't do it because in those three months of ownership, you already lost a bunch of money. You definitely won't be able to get the price you're looking for if you trade in the G at this point. |

first and only point - don't trade it in, if you want value for your car, sell it in the private market to get more value / cash for your car.
now if you want the Z, not a problem, everyone's taste and preferences change over time, but you want to get the most out of your G37, so don't trade it in. sell it yourself and use the cash/money to get your Z. |

I'm just not sure that what you would get would be worth the loss of many thousands of dollars. Good luck keeping the G!
