Default NISMO Prices

Hey everyone,

I'm not yet a Z owner, but hope to be one in the next couple weeks. There is a dealer by me asking $34,987 for a used 2010 NISMO with 500 miles on it. (They claim the owner had surgery and had to trade it for an auto trans). I drove it and it seems to look fine. All the new NISMOs in my area are advertised at a sticker of $40,465. Any advice on what to offer? Thanks for the help!

Well you can offer whatever you want but I've been watching 2010 Nismo prices and for a car with only 500 miles on it, for $5000 less than a car with 10 miles on it...seems like a no-brainer and I doubt they go to much lower.

Most places that I have dealt with (credit unions) still refer to a car as "New" as long as its I think around '08 and newer. 2010 should be no problem, get other financing if they try to use that to their advantage. BTW, sounds like a good deal to me!

Yes you can get the new car interest rate on a used car as long as it is the current or previous model year.

Navy Federal, USAA, and PenFed will all give you the New car rate if it is current model year or if the car has never been titled.

Thanks everyone for your replies. I ended up with a 2010 Nismo in platinum graphite...got it NEW for just under 37k after tax, title, and registration. I'm happy so far!
