Ordering a Car

Hey guys can you tell me what the process is for ordering a car from a dealer out of state. I know the dealer this forum promotes has great prices but hes all the way in cali. Could I potentially just order it for the price he has it listed or are there taxes and other things that get thrown in there when I have it brought to NY. Also, will any Nissan dealer service the car since I obviously wont bring it back to that dealer in Cali. every time there is a problem. Any help would be great!

Best thing to do is call that dealer for the details etc.. Also your local DMV for fees or procedures regarding an out of state purchase. Yes, you can service your car at any Nissan dealer.

Buying out-of-state is a pain in the rear. I did that with the 2005 Neon SRT-4 that I currently have for sale. But like Greg said, call your local DMV and get your ducks in a row first. Maybe calling a CPA and asking them what kind of taxes you will have to pay for buying a car out-of-state would help too. Just don't expect the Cali dealer to be immediately armed with that kind of information and play it safe by touching base at home.
