2009 Pricing opinion

New to the forums. Currently own a 2007 Mazdaspeed 3. Looking at getting a 370z in the near future.

Found an '09 6 speed touring w/ sport package in pearl white.

Offer is $35,400. Called around to see availability on similar 09 or 10 models and was told there is nothing available with touring/sport package/6 speed in white or gray anywhere in the state (Texas) or region. Confirmed this with 2 dealerships. Also said they show nothing coming in, regarding '10 model in spec'd options, until July or August at the earliest–if even then.

I was also told the limited availability is due to Nissan producing the 40th anniversary edition. Every single dealer I've checked with has at least 1 on the lot–most have a couple.

Another question I have is the car currently has the splash guards installed. Can those be removed? Always preferred the car without them. Other question is the dealer has installed plates on the front. Do these drill into the painted portion of the bumper or the black plastic lip? If it is the plastic can that be replaced?

If a dealer drills into the front bumper to put their stupid plate on the front they should be drug out into the street and shot. I would never buy from a dealer that does something that ridiculous. I'll let others comment on the other stuff....
