Nissan 370Z Forum  

$5k markup in Portland, OR!

I live in Portland Oregon and I've visited every Nissan dealerships in town for 370z except for one in Hillsborough. None of them were willing to sell it below MSRP.

I live in Portland Oregon and I've visited every Nissan dealerships in town for 370z except for one in Hillsborough. None of them were willing to sell it below MSRP. I told them I'll wait. At one dealership, I pretty much laughed at him when the guy asked for dealers mark up. I guess car salesmen will always be car salesmen. Even when auto industries are having very tough time selling cars, all the Nissan dealerships in town acted like they're not phased by it. But I understand that most dealership don't have many 370z in their lots.

I know Nissan cars are not known for strong resale value (except for GT-R). Therefor, I'll wait until I can get 370z at or below invoice. I can't justify near $40k for Nissan car even 370z.

I wouldn't bother with just visiting the dealerships. Traditionally you'll never get as good a price as if you try an internet quote. Try Edmunds quote tool. Works quite well. We also have the car show this weekend.

I did manage to get decent quotes from Alan Webb and Royal Moore.
