so. do it the other way around it's cheap priced then for the OP and us there are importing tax, manly the value of the car of what the drivers

still cheaper then buying it at a local dealership for him

I wasn't referring to him buying a Porsche or BMW in Austria...

I do understand how import taxes work in general, however, different everywhere. Unless you are an expert on Austria/Japan tax treaties and/or are a customs broker, your statement is pure speculation.
