Nissan VPP particpating companies

What is a 2.5% delivery fee? Is that 2.5% of the invoice price or 2.5% of the destination fee? If it is 2.5% of the invoice price, minus the 2.87%

It's Nissan's VPP Plan D calcs. The 2.5% is added back after the 2.87% discount off the invoice price. The salesman couldn't explain what exactly that particular charge is for. His explanation is that the VPP calculations are done automatically using Nissan's form. All he enters in is the Vin # and my VPP registered claim #. Nissan's VPP software spits out the form as seen in previous posts. The dealer can't enter any charges in that VPP document, which turned out well for me since the dealer they traded with had added window tint and the illuminated kick plate. I got to pay the VPP final price without those adds.

I think you can google Nissan VPP and they may have an explanation in there somewhere. See the post on page 3 of this thread for a pic of a VPP form. That form is almost identical to the one that was handed to me for signature.

I think I fall under the VPP Plan C. But my question is, right now folks are getting the 370Z at invoice or slightly below invoice from some of the posts I have read without VPP, so are we really saving a hugh amount below the invoice amount or just a little? The way I understand it, it works out to be maybe a couple hundred off of invoice is the Plan C and D price. Of course if you are a NNA corporate employee or immediate family member then you get 4% off of invoice and no delivery charge, and that does equate to a significant amount.

I am in so cal. and the tax rate is 7.75% so my price according the the Plan C or D is approx the MSRP, but out the door, including tax, lic. fee, etc. So for example a touring, sport, 6spd works out to be about $38,500 out the door for me which is similar to the sticker price.

Just a little, plan C & D are not meant to be the very best deals as stated before. You can negotiate a better deal, within a few hundred dollars, these days if you are willing to put in the time. Or, purchase in no time flat and use the rest of that free time driving.
