We only got 3 Nissan dealers here and they've still got some 09s on their lot between 34 and 42k. Bastards

There are several things you can do,

First, shop the market and see if other dealerships have the vehicle you want in either 09 or 10. If you are trying to reach a price point, consider one other color you may want.

Second, get pre-approved, prior to negotiating with the dealer.

Third, be prepared to negotiate on a 2010 to see how much they are willing to do, you maybe able to get the same car as a 2010 model for the same price.

Fourth, negotiate on the 09, if they are firm about the price, have them add the spoiler package, window tint, wheel locks and any other accessory. Can't loose by asking.

Fifth, pull information on used 09 370 prices and talk about the depriciation factor with buying a new car which will be considered to be a year old car.

Sixth & last, once the dealer offers to get you a better financing rate, entertain this idea as sometimes they can get you a better interest rate. If they are able to do so, and if you are interested, negotiate for them to split the kick back they will get for establishing your financing. (The dealer will be interested in getting you a better financing rate, as the dealer receives a kick back from the finance company for sending them business)

**Overall do your research, as a good deal is one you are comfortable with long after the sale has been completed***
