Default Buying a new 370Z in Canada

Has anyone purchased a new 370z in Canada recently? Currently looking and would like to know some numbers of what others bought as this will be the first new car I buy.

I've been looking at the sport and anniversary edition.

Sport MSRP: $34,698 Dealer price: $37,200
Anniversary MSRP: $37,398 Dealer price: $39,900

I got quotes for both trims.
sport sale price: $34,850 ($42,300 with tax)
anniversary sale price: $39,970 ($45,200 with tax)

I want to get back with an offer that's reasonable and won't make me look like a fool who has no idea what he's doing, which is exactly what I'am. These quotes are with no down payment attached which I'm currently working towards building up.

Any tips or advice will be very much appreciated thank you!

All those prices are inflated I can say that. I recommend purchasing your 2019 or 2020 Nissan 370Z in the United States and having it delivered to you in the end you will pay less for the same vehicle and overall get a better deal. In my opinion the only Nissan dealership in Canada I would even possibly recommend would be High Park Nissan in Toronto. I wish you the best of luck with your Nissan 370Z shopping. www.autotrader.com www.cars.com www.ebaymotors.com

The USD has 35 cents on the Canadian dollar, and when bringing it back across the border I would have to pay 13% tax on it. For buying new, at least for me its Canada or bust

Agreed! In the end, it’ll cost a lot more. Not worth it right now to shop across the border.

Above that you pay import tax of 5.1 percent I think also because it is Japanese.

I just loved the look of it and the power leather seats were nice. I have decided though to wait and build up more down payment.

Buy one or two year old low mileage and save yourself the depreciation.
