Bargaining power when the dealer does a swap...

370s to the spec I want are pretty thin on the ground here, so the dealer is going to have to do a swap or buy a 370z from another dealership.

Even with the new 2010s rolling out, it's hard finding something fully loaded with sport/touring/navigation.

What bargaining power do I have to get a car for something close to invoice if the dealer is going 'out of their way' to find a car at another dealership?

you still have the same bargaining power - they are full of BS man... just walk away and they will give you a better deal - trust me there are enough dealers out there who have the cars. Why do you want sport / touring / nav? touring and nav = 5-6k almost... sport is just about the only thing worth it IMO.

I just got mine two weeks ago Auto + Touring + Sport + navi. MSRP OTD (equivalent to about $350 bellow invoice). Another dealer e-mail me that he can do better than that after I pulled my trigger. I'm sure you can at least get the same deal. If you're in Bay Area and want the same deal, PM me with your contact. I can forward it to my sales guy. He completed all my paper + finance within 1 hour. Quite pleasant to deal with.

It's been a while since I bought a car. I even got the old 'I'll talk to my manager' thing that I can't believe that sales people still try and do.

When they pull that one, I'm going to have to talk to my finance manager (i.e Wife)

I just need to look up the invoice on a 2010, fully loaded and go in below that.

OTD = Out the door, right?
