went to carmax today, took a look at the car, it only had 10 miles on the odo (from people test driving), red, sports package, mats and splash guard, with spare tires and everything. signed for it right there. opted out of the additional 1600 for extended warranty. car plus all fees were below 30k. got 6.75 financing (hope to pay off entire loan in 6 months anyway, so doesn't bother me much, they told me i could get it cheaper with my bank or credit union) car is parked in the drive way as i type.... beautiful. i guess i'll not get to test drive that GTR  the car was unavailable because they held it for me. and now its home... the search for the Z has ended, and the drive of a lifetime about to begin. thanks to all for the info. I am now a Z
