the guy's only complaint was the oil temperature...which never even got unmanageably high during the video...and at the end he says there's "so many reasons" not to get one...not to mention $500 will make the "problem" go away

He claims he "had problems" with an oil cooler. I'm betting they stemmed from not knowing what a wrench was.

in the comments of that video, he mentions he posted a thread at 370z.com but people didn't wouldn't believe him when he said there was a loss of power due to high oil temps.... lol, wonder where that thread is...:rofl2:.

There is definitely pulled timing above 240 or so. I noticed it at zdayz. Car felt flat about halfway through. Its nothing compared to the shock of limp mode though.

Wat?

KingZee 08-05-2011 01:51 PM

This guy made me :bowrofl::bowrofl: in my office.

I did experience pulled timing as well after 250 after a beat the crap out of the car without my cooler on the canyon...not sure if it was limp mode though, surprised the sh|t outta me. I ended the run and was making a u-turn out of a turn out and noticed my RPMs were going up but my car wasn't really going anywhere in 1st gear...did I experience limp mode?
