Talking Watkins Glen NY HPDE video

Great track- ~3.5 mile- a lot of elevation changes- fast. Did four different shots from tow hook, windshield, side and interior.

Weather did not cooperate- lite showers and fog but was still a good time

It is a lot of fun and you can really appreciate the performance of the Z on a track that you just can't on the street (& would be crazy to try)

Last Glen Video one lap from the tow hook- unfortunately the elevation changes do not real come thru on the video but the up and down hills are very steep- a little rain this day - will go back again in a couple months

I was consistently doing 2:40 minute laps (backed off latter in day as wet and foggy) So with ~ 2:40ish laps I think that averages ~80 MPH over the course. Really no time to look at speedo (tough to see even in regular driving)- just tach- but probably 120-130ish straights, 50ish turns best guess.

I recorded top speed at Monticello on 1.5 mile back straight @ 166.9 MPH ,on IPhone app, which is supposed to be fairly accurate.

Agree- did two day HPDE event-
Day 1: Z06 spun coming out of toe and flipped- taken to hospital but he was Ok not so the Z06
Day 2: - Viper SRT10 put it hard into the blue guard rail- driver fine but not sure the Viper will be back.
Track was wet so I think big torque high HP had a tough go of it

Unless something skipped or my math is wrong, but it looks like you did a <2:30 lap in your in car shot. That's very good in the wet condition.

My stock car hit 127mph
