Have you tried using Apple Aperture 3? It works really well for non-distructive editing. I use it for any light adjustments or batch adjustments using custom presets. Being able to work with RAW files is also a plus.

No I haven't tried it, and I don't use a mac. I made the mistake of not shooting in RAW for this shoot... anyway, I will next time. I've learned A LOT since after I did this shoot so the next set will be far better, especially how to use this camera to achieve the effects I want by using the camera settings rather than post processing.

It helps to write down your settings for reference, that way you know if your heading in the right direction.

Re: Apple Aperture, You can achieve the same effects in Photoshop anyways, just takes a little longer to go thru each one.

Does the T2i have the ability to save as a RAW and jpeg at the same time? That's the setting I use on my D90. Saves you time from not having to convert files you don't intend to edit. Especially handy when you take a lot of pictures. Just make sure to bring an extra memory card.

I'm looking into getting the Canon Rebel T2i. It'll be my first DSLR camera...how do you like the camera so far?
