1300HP GTR and a radar gun!

Pretty funny. Although what was the point of the GTR having a radar detector....didnt really detect anything until it was to late. Here in Edmonton its legal to have them but i never seen the need for that reason.

The guy's friend turned the radar gun on when it was literally up his GTR's a$$. How would the detector give any advance warning? A more realistic situation (and the 'right' way to use a detector) is to be driving with traffic on the road ahead of you. That way a cop shoots a car ahead, sets off your detector, and you get forewarning of the cop's presence. My family describes the guinea pig driver up ahead as 'running interference'.
