Not to be a smart azz, but did you try turning the light switch from 'auto' to the park light position? Besides, why would just want to run parking lights?

Not to be a smart azz, but did you try turning the light switch from 'auto' to the park light position?
 Besides, why would just want to run parking lights? If it's dark enough for those, it's dark enough for regular headlights. Most states require full headlights 1/2 hour before sunset & 1/2 hour after sunrise. The fools on the road don't look anyway, so the more light, the better.
