Default 2016 Coolant reservoir hoses

Hello everyone, I am a new owner of a 2016 370z. Great car btw. My previous car was a 08 civic Si that treated me well and I am hoping this car will do the same

I apologize if I am in the wrong section but the other day when I was changing my oil I noticed there is a coolant hose coming from the reservoir cap kinda dangling near the bottom of the front bumper visible when the splash guard is removed. This hose is not connected to anything. It looks like if the reservoir overflowed, coolant would just leak through the tube and pour out on the road.

Is this overflow hose normal on newer cars? I don't recall seeing this on my previous cars.

Thanks, any input would be greatly appreciated

Yep, the one clipped to the fan shroud is for the overflow. It's normal.

congrats and welcome!

to answer your question, and as others have stated, it is normal.

I had an 07 fg2 prior to switching over to the Z family and it is def. night and day. you def. don't have to wiggle to get to the oil filter on a Z lol.
