I fills up at 3-4 dots but a couple times I did let go until the empty indicator light comes on, but. I very rarely flogged it. Crossing my fingers this doesn't happen to me, atleast not anytime soon.

I can't speak for the "Nissan" fuel pump, but based on my decades with cars, it would not be unusual for a pump to go out at 70,000. This is a mtce item much like a water pump.
