And now back to the thread, already in progress: FORD = Found On Road Dead GM = Planned obsolescence :shakes head: Although, that said, I might tempt fate and go with an Alpha Romeo next time around... |

I had a sales booklet from about 1972 that I would hide in textbooks and read while in detention at HS. Back then, a Pantera was my dream car. (fap, fap) Looks like one in half decent shape can be had for $30-40K nowadays but a good one is $80K (and up). Still a bit out of my price range. :( |

from a Ford employee during the gas wars.. best part was the pure rush of the loud exhaust blaring away and the smell of gasoline fumes filling the interior......... Now I really miss that darn car.............:iagree: |

But it runs with 200hp, cannot rival a 370Z with 332hp. Especially when RevMatching (or Downshifting) installed. |

Mustang GTs must have imprived a lot then !! :D |
Got beat by a E46 M3 last night from 60-140 mph by about 3 feet, really close. Starting modding by going to the other side of my garage and cranking up my SRT8 which has had a belly full of M3's in the past and now I'm looking for a little payback :) LOL gotta add some basics to this thing, exhaust, CAI and tune should make up for that 3 foot loss.
