Hi everyone, just wanted to say hi and share my purchase with fellow Z-car enthusiasts!

I actually had no intentions of buying a car today but my wife and I decided to stop in and take a peek at the Nissan dealership since I was in the market to buy a new car. We met the "internet sales manager" and asked him "Do you have any white 370z's coming in?" He said there are 2 coming off the transporter right now! lol

I looked at the wife/CEO, and she smiled and rolled her eyes. Well, needless to say the rest was history.

I purchased a '09 370Z fresh off the transporter and traded in my '08 VW Passat. I decided to take the base model (the other one being delivered had the touring pkg) since it has everything I want. I don't plan on tracking/autox'ing/racing my Z so the sport package wasn't too important to me, besides the spoiler-less look is just downright sexy to me. Plus my payments are very comfortable and thats what matters to me in today's economy. I've worked so hard to save money for this purchase so I feel very blessed and grateful for my "base" coupe.

The Z had 5 miles on the odo when it rolled off the truck. I kindly requested for the dealership to touch and remove NOTHING, just do the PDI and inspection sticker! Hey, I worked my *** off to purchase this and I want to unwrap it dammit! lol I did inspect it top to bottom a million times though to make sure everything was in good working order.

The drive home was fantastic! I drove around the city to rack up miles to end the break-in ASAP and logged 125 miles the first day. My temp never exceeded 220 during all driving conditions (ambient temp ~90F). whew!

I ordered the trunk cargo net, windshield sunscreen, and wheel locks.. should be in soon. My first mod will be the exhaust once I recoup from the big down payment I placed.

Thanks for the wonderful site, I hope to meet some fellow houston Z owners in the near future!

Oh BTW, I bought my Z from Mossy Nissan in Houston, TX and they were a pleasure to work with!
