How would you feel about buying the intake used? There's a post for one, Gen 3 Long pipes, probably get it for 300-350. Is that a good move to save

How would you feel about buying the intake used? There's a post for one, Gen 3 Long pipes, probably get it for 300-350. Is that a good move to save that money? or is this something you want to buy new

I'm confused. Why would a used intake be a problem? Just clean and re-oil the filters and you're good to go.

Oh a used one is just as effective as a new one...

...being that they don't produce a noticeable difference for the $300 + install hassle.

But that's just me.

^ as far as Im concerned a short ram is more of cosmetic and psychological that You drive a 500hp horse Sh*t! But I love my K&N makes my engine bay look like a ricer. Lol

Correct, short rams are worse than stock. But CAIs show gains. The intake discussion pretty much boils down to either Stillen or MAF tubes and drop ins.
