Really? Would love test that theory........
|
I think track tests and/or number crunching was performed and there's a thread about it somewhere on this site.
My search-fu is currently lacking though. |

Cars with factory aggressive full body kits are usually for people that don't want to change cosmetics too much.(IMO) |

The NISMO is extremely "revvy" for lack of a better word. Unless you're really hammering it, you're never going to notice the extra 18hp and it will probably be slightly slower for more "normal" driving. At 6000 rpm though, hold on tight!:driving: OP: Go with the one you want; they're both fantastic cars. I love the exclusivity, looks, suspension, and wheels/brakes of my NISMO but I'm still jealous of the Touring interior. If you value ride quality/comfort get a base model. |

i do understand what you're saying, but from my opinion i just don't see the 10k price difference. if the engine was different then i'd be able to see it, but as it sits now i don't. again, that's just my opinion. |

I never liked the NISMO Z's until 2015.(looks wise - the new wheels)
Big spoiler:ugh2: long nose:ughdance: Only reason I would purchase a NISMO any year for the $ would be if the engine hp was significantly more powerful. The Sports/Touring looks great already. NISMO GT-R is a perfect example vs the standard GT-R |

I probably wouldn't pay extra if I were buying new... but since I was looking used, I was happy to pick up a NISMO over a base. I've only seen 2 others and 1 was at a drive-in event a forum member was hosting.
