Goodbye 370z
It's been a pleasure being on this forum. I've learned so much and met some amazing people. I traded my 370z in Tuesday for a 2015 WRX STi. I just wanted more room and wanted AWD for my 45 minute drive to work for when it snows. If anyone wants to keep in touch, follow me @corey_sti on Instagram. Good luck to all of you! http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/14...c30047c09e.jpghttp://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/14...2991bbc7be.jpghttp://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/14...5ef786ea0e.jpghttp://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/14...ee610825fb.jpghttp://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/14...955e9b2fc9.jpghttp://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/14...aca7d548e4.jpg

Sweet!

Congrats!
|
Looks great.
|
The STI looks good in red!
|
Thank you all for the kind comments!
|
Looks good bro! How do you like it?
|
Nice and congrats:tup: love the color looks fun.....You will be back....they always come back.
|
Enjoy your STi! There's one thing the STi would do better than my Z (IMO) and that's look good in the rain. I have given thought to one of these 4 door wonders. Apparently the little ricer kids always want to drive it b/c you can't get a test drive unless you are a qualified buyer.
|
Nice grab! Ya it will be awhile before the kids can afford one let alone rice it out!
Now all you need is a wide body kit. :) |
I really hate that front civic style front window.. like REALLY despise it. I prefer the '13 body style but seeing yours in RED... Really, really growing on me. The interior is a lot nicer and that steering wheel looks amazing!
Congrats and enjoy |
thats a big wing.
|
Beautiful car, enjoy it !
|
Love the car bro. Sold my 2010 NISMO in April and considered waiting for the 15 STI. Didn't think I could "live" with only 305hp so I got a Corvette Grand Sport instead. Still, every time I see the new 15's it makes me think long and hard about it. I had an 06 WRX back in the day and still to this day one of my favorite cars I've owned. AWD is just amazing in dry but glorious in the wet. Enjoy your ride. Looks great.

thing with subaru's for me is that i end up hitting my right knee often on the steering column.. but then if i lower the seat i cant see very well. it's got that weird take off angle. i dont have this issue on my other cars.
but that interior looks nice. i was pretty close in getting a 09 sti wagon 5yrs ago... but the knee issue was wat kept me back mostly... and the f-kers at the dealer. |
Very nice Subee..here in Nor Cali many Subee's....I like and enjoy seeing
any well built sports car..out of the box a Subee sure looks great....GL amigo... |
ya that civic window has to go ;p
but I love that car - looks really nice, seems like the changed alot front end wise to the look, way more aggressive |
Goodbye 370z

I really do love it man. It's my first boosted car, so the fact I hear the turbo and BOV is just something I love. Every time I get in boost and shift I just wanna turn to my passenger and ask, "Did you hear that?" lol You can completely change the center differential and go as far a 75% power in the rear and 25% up front. You can also adjust the power curve for a more economic drive or all out sport. It only weighs a little over 3300 lbs so it's not too far from the 370. It's EXTREMELY roomy. Quote:
Like I said above, I think the same thing about the civic window. That's the only part about the car that threw me off at first, but it's grew on me because I see so much of the road now. Window tint is a must! Thank you man! |
i like the muscular fenders and the quarter.
|
Awesome! Love the STIs (except the last gen).

Yeah it's huge! Haha but I love it. It's so big you see out of the back window perfectly. This wing is a tested 3mph to the top speed. Quote:
I'm telling you man, this car is torquey. It is rated at 305/290 from the factory, but this car only weighs about 80 pounds more than the Z. I'm in the 1000 mile (recommend by Subaru) break in period and can only shift to 4k, but so far, the torque is very very impressive. The wait to shift at redline is killing me! A guy with his 15', stage 2, ran a 12.065 @112 with the stock turbo of course. He's at 356whp/387tq. So the power is there if you want it! Thanks man! http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/14...4ef825ff85.jpg Quote:
These cars have so much more room than previous years. It has an inch more wheelbase. You can completely adjust the steering wheel. Of course up and down, but now in and out like a telescope. Test drive this years version and see if it's got enough room for you now! |
sounds good.
they coming out with a wrx hatch any time soon? i prefer the hatch since i can then carry my Z and G's wheels in there. |

I completely know what you're talking about with the civic style window! This car had to grow on me because at first, I visually hated it. This car looks really aggressive at certain angles. But I'm hoping to find some really aggressive rain guards to shorten the large window surface. But let me tell you, you see EVERYTHING while driving and I love it. No more feeling like I'm gonna die while switching lanes in the Z with that huge blind spot! The picture below is of a guy that's done a great job with his build. I hope to find rain guards that are super slim. Maybe it'll grow on you like it did me. http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/14...300c3af27c.jpg |

The hatch is gone for this year. They seem to do that. Randomly take it away from year to year. Part of the reason is that every 2/3 they sold last year was a sedan. It's funny you mention fitting your Z and G wheels in there. One of the first things my dealer showed me is how big the trunk is the year with the extra inch of wheel base. You can fit 4 wheels in there for track day. They made the sides flat in the trunk. I just took a couple pictures for you. http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/14...33fdd6b747.jpghttp://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/14...a26f42813f.jpg |
The STi is a nice car. Congrats buddy!

It's definitely growing on me but that window destroys the looks in my opinion. I won't be super picky and NOT get the car for that reason though. It's still an AWD turbo beast ready for more boost. |

I know what you mean man. I have little things like that with other cars that almost ruin it for me. But, at least to you easily see everything around you haha |
Yeah, that's true. Sometimes I have to do a double check before switching lol

After not seeing anything in the 370 for a year, and praying to God I don't crash when I change lanes haha, the open visibly is so welcomed. |
I think I'm in love...
|
Sharp ride. 'Grats!
|
Sick ride man. I always loved STis! I fell out of love with the style of the body after the 05...but This new body is killing it!

Seriously, thank you guys so much! |
My friend just grabbed a 15 WRX. Very sharp looking cars.
Still slower than my 12 year old Vette :) :stirthepot: Just kidding, I think you made a great choice. |
Quote:
Haha that's fair! Jokes are allowed. Let me go grab my Cobb tune and turbo back exhaust.. But seriously, thanks man! It's snowing here in East Tennessee so it's about time to go play. |
